Catarina Carvalho is editor in chief of the lifestyle content and magazines published by the portuguese GlobalMedia Group. This includes Delas.pt, a feminine site and digital magazine, Notícias Magazine, a Sunday supplement that comes out with two leading national newspapers, Evasões, a lifestyle magazine and website, and Volta ao Mundo, a site, TV show and montlhy glossy magazine on international traveling. She conducts the paper editions and the digital versions that have become all leaders in their segments. She has been a journalist since she was 19 years old, working with many national newspapers and magazines – Diário de Notícias, Visão, Sábado, Expresso – covering justice, social affairs and immigration beats before becoming reporter at large, and prior to leading newsroom positions.
