In the past, she was entrusted with other high profile leadership roles at the BBC such as editor of the TV One and Six O Clock News, deputy editor, Newsnight and Bureau Chief in Washington DC. She was project executive at the BBC for London 2012, having a leading role in formulating the vision, editorial strategy and plans to cover all the major events including the Olympic Torch Relay, the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic Games.
As editor or visual editor, you cannot ignore new formats: circular and vertical videos, sound-off videos, square photos and new uses of animated gifs. More or less, all those new formats originated on, or were created for, social media.
