The building dates back to the 17th century and while it was originally used by the university, in the 18th century it was home to the world’s oldest daily newspaper, “Wiener Zeitung”. Between 2003 and 2006 the building has been completely renovated and restored. The place has always been a meeting point to share knowledge and experience, and it’s the perfect spot for the Global Editors Network in its upcoming season.

The GEN Summit 2016 was held at the impressive Aula der Wissenschaften, which proved to be the perfect venue and the reason why we are pleased to be returning for the next event.
